An established and growing independent school is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Officer to join its Human Resources Directorate. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role plays a key part in delivering effective and compliant generalist HR administration and advisory support across multiple campuses. ABOUT THE ROLE As HR Officer, you will support the full employee lifecycle while ensuring best practice, confidentiality and legislative compliance at all times. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes Drafting employment contracts, variation letters and HR correspondence Assisting with performance management, grievances and disciplinary processes Reviewing and improving HR policies, procedures and systems Acting as the first point of contact for HR enquiries Monitoring and triaging the shared HR inbox Supporting HR projects and initiatives as directed This is a hands-on, operational role suited to someone who enjoys detail, structure and working closely with leaders and staff.
